The Kerala Seven-a-Side Football Association has partnered with SportVot to enhance professional coverage of its competitions.

The Seven-a-Side Football Association of India has partnered with SportVot to produce, broadcast live, and distribute the 2026 season competitions digitally, according to the specialized sports economics platform. The agreement, announced on October 28, 2026, will see exclusive broadcasting of the contracted competitions via the SportVot app.

Seven-a-side football is popular among local fans in the Indian state of Kerala, but limited access to professional television coverage has restricted its audience reach. Under the new agreement, SportVot will provide multi-camera production, broadcast graphics, live streaming, and content distribution services.

The deal is economically significant because it shows that regional sports do not necessarily need large television contracts to develop their market. Professional production and digital distribution can attract audiences outside the stadium and create new opportunities for advertising, sponsorship, and promoting players and clubs.

For organizers, increasing access to competitions can help develop the commercial value of the events, but this outcome is not automatic. Viewer numbers, production quality, competition continuity, and the ability to convert audiences into advertising or sponsorship revenue will be key factors.

The financial value of the agreement has not been disclosed, so it is not yet possible to estimate the revenue or economic return.
